"Thornburg Trustee Settles Suit Against Ex-Insiders for $6.5M"

The AmLaw Daily, Dow Jones, The American Banker, National Mortgage News, and other media outlets report that Shapiro Sher partner Joel I. Sher, in his role as U.S. Trustee for Thornburg Mortgage, has agreed to settle the lawsuit he filed against the company's former executives and outside counsel, alleged to have engaged in a consipiracy to secretly use the failed mortgage company's employees and assets to launch a new company.
