Matthew A.S. Esworthy Appointed to American Bar Association Cybersecurity Legal Task Force
Baltimore, MD – For the third consecutive year, attorney Matthew A.S. Esworthy has been named to the Cybersecurity Legal Task Force of the American Bar Association.
The Task Force was formed in 2012 to coordinate the ABA’s legal and policy analyses relating to cybersecurity, and to compile cybersecurity resources for ABA members. Over the past four years, the Task Force has offered numerous educational events, released several publications, and advised the ABA on legislative and policy proposals.
Mr. Esworthy represents individuals and companies in general civil and criminal litigation, including white-collar criminal cases, complex commercial disputes, cyber law, privacy matters, and appeals. Active in bar associations and a frequent speaker on cybersecurity, he has also served as Co-Chair of the Cyber Crime Committee of the ABA Criminal Justice Section.
