Attorney Profile
Anastasia McCusker is a partner in the Firm's financial restructuring and bankruptcy practice. She concentrates in representing debtors, creditors, and trustees in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. Ms. McCusker is an integral part of the group’s litigation practices and has notable experience with respect to commercial and bankruptcy-related litigation, including at the appellate level.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. McCusker served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Marvin J. Garbis of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. In that position, she assisted the Court with hearings and trials, researched civil and criminal issues, and drafted opinions. Previously, she clerked for the American Civil Liberties Union of Maryland.
Ms. McCusker graduated magna cum laude from Mount Saint Mary's University, where she majored in Criminal Justice with a minor in Legal Studies. In 2010, she graduated first in her class at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
